our beginning
Cicero Caramel Co. was founded by its owner, Brian Niec, a veteran local law enforcement officer in Hamilton County, Indiana in March of 2018. While at the gym on paternity leave, the adage “if you do what you love you’ll never work a day in your life”, came to mind. And when Brian began to think about things he truly loved, caramel was at the top of the list. He immediately began working on recipes, tweaking it to find the perfect caramel that left others craving more. Opening a caramel business was never in the master plan, but when Brian created a Facebook business profile and its first post was shared over 250 times, he knew he was onto something. Cicero Caramel Co. is expanding retail locations, providing party & wedding favors, corporate gifts, holiday treats, and selling amazing caramel across the United States. Brian lives near Cicero, Indiana, with his wife, Gwendolyn, and children; a daughter, Channing, and a son, Chael.

The Cicero Caramel Co. takes pride in the process of making its caramel. It’s what we do… literally. Each batch is handmade to provide the consistency and perfection we expect out of ourselves, and our caramel. What our customers receive is soft, buttery caramel that melts in your mouth and leaves you craving more. So if more caramel is what you want, just let us know and we’d be happy to oblige!
